Liam Treanor designs and manufactures beautiful British made furniture with a Mid-Century Modern and Scandinavian influence. His style is a combination of a refined lightweight aesthetic and honest functionality. Liam graduated from the University of Lincoln in 2010 with a 1st class degree; prior to this he spent a year at college learning the fundamentals of fine cabinet making. Only sustainably sourced materials are used in the construction of Liam’s furniture.

An absolutely gorgeous piece of design
Savoye Chair is a sister product to the Shell Chair. Unlike the Shell
Chair the Savoye’s back rest and seat panel are two separate components.
However the form of the majority of its frame and the key measurements of
the seat and backrest remain the same. The use of bent laminated plywood for
the seat and backrest has allowed them to be shaped to suit the measurements
of an average human body.

The chair is light, strong and comfortable. It has a lightweight look thanks
to its thin and elegant frame, on top of which the seat visually floats. We
think that colour is important in design, it can add mood and charisma to an
interior, and therefore we offer the chair seat and backrest in various
colours.

Savoye Chair’s are available in white, yellow, blue, green or grey.
The chairs are made from English ash and birch ply.
